Buying packing tape online

This is every tape we sell in one place. For sealing cartons, most buyers need one of three: clear BOPP tape for white or printed boxes, brown BOPP tape for brown cartons, or printed tape that carries a message such as FRAGILE or a marketplace name. The rest of the range is for other jobs: kraft paper tape for plastic-free parcels, double-sided foam and tissue tape, masking, duct and PVC electrical tape.

We are not traders in packing tape. PackSmith is the online store of JPPL Innovation, part of Jagannath Polymers, and our group makes BOPP tape in its own plant in Jaipur. That is why the clear, brown and printed tapes here come in so many widths, lengths and pack sizes.

How I would choose:

  1. 2 inch (48 mm) for most courier cartons, 3 inch for big or heavy boxes, 1 inch for small packets.
  2. 65 m rolls for a hand dispenser, 300 m or 500 m rolls for a packing table that seals cartons all day.
  3. A set of 6 to try, then bulk packs of 36 or 72 rolls once you know your monthly use.

Are you a packing tape manufacturer?

Yes, for BOPP tape. Our group, Jagannath Polymers, makes clear, brown and printed BOPP packing tape in its own plant in Jaipur, and PackSmith is its online store. Foam, tissue, masking, duct and PVC tapes we source and sell.

Which packing tape is best for ecommerce packing?

For most courier cartons, 2 inch (48 mm) BOPP tape: brown on brown cartons, clear on white or printed boxes. Use 3 inch for heavy cartons and long 300 m rolls if your table seals cartons all day.

Do you sell packing tape in bulk or wholesale?

Yes. Bulk packs of 36 and 72 rolls, and long 300 m and 500 m rolls, with 5%, 7% or 10% off applied automatically above ₹1,000, ₹2,000 and ₹3,000. For larger quantities or tape printed with your logo (from 360 rolls), write to us for a quote.

What is the price of packing tape?

Each listing shows the price with 18% GST included and free delivery, so what you see is what you pay. Compare the price per metre, because a 300 m roll and a 65 m roll are not the same amount of tape.
