Long Length (300 meters):
This is brown BOPP packing tape, 3 inch (72 mm) wide and 300 m long, two rolls to a pack. It is for dispatch tables that seal heavy cartons all day: home goods, machine parts, books and export cartons.
We make it in our plant in Jaipur. It is the widest and longest brown tape we list, and it is meant for volume. For a few heavy cartons a week, it is simply too much tape.
What you get
| Material | BOPP (biaxially oriented polypropylene) film with adhesive |
|---|---|
| Colour | Brown |
| Width | 3 inch (72 mm) |
| Length | 300 m per roll |
| Pack | Set of 2 rolls (600 m in all) |
| Fits | 3 inch dispensers that take long rolls (check yours, see below) |
Where it works best
- Cartons above about 15 kg, sealed with H-tape on both faces and a second strip on the bottom centre seam.
- Large cartons with a wide gap between the flaps.
- Factory and warehouse dispatch, where one table seals heavy cartons in batches.
- Export cartons that will be stacked on a pallet and handled many times.
How to choose
I would ask two questions before you order. Are your cartons heavy enough for 3 inch tape? And do you use enough of it to need 300 m on a roll? If the second answer is no, take our 3 inch x 65 m set of 4. It fits an ordinary 3 inch hand dispenser.
Then check your dispenser. I mean it. A 3 inch, 300 m roll is wide and heavy, and it needs a 3 inch dispenser built for long rolls. Most hand dispensers sold in shops are 2 inch. Send us your dispenser model through our contact page and we will check our roll against it.
Our case study on long tape rolls sets up a heavy-carton station on this very tape, with the metres per carton and a reorder point.
One honest limit. In brown, 3 inch comes in 300 m at most. If you want 500 m rolls in 3 inch, the tape has to be clear. I would rather tell you that now than after you have bought the dispenser.
Questions buyers ask
Do I need 3 inch tape on every carton?
No. Most ecommerce cartons up to about 15 kg are fine with 2 inch. Use 3 inch where the carton is heavy or the flaps gap open. Keep a 2 inch dispenser on the same table for the light boxes.
Will I get a GST invoice?
Yes. Add your GSTIN in the cart before checkout. The price on the listing includes GST, delivery is free across India, and we dispatch in 1 to 2 working days.
