Honeycomb paper is kraft paper that opens into a 3D net when you pull it, a bit like a Diwali paper lantern opening up. You wrap the item, tear the paper by hand and the cells lock into each other, so most items need no tape on the wrap. Sellers of glassware, ceramics, cosmetics and gifts use it as a paper alternative to bubble wrap.

One honest point from my side. Honeycomb paper is a wrap, not a filler, and if the carton has big empty corners the wrapped item will still slide around. Add void fill paper for those gaps.

Questions buyers ask
Do I need tape to close honeycomb wrap?
Usually no. Stretch the paper, wrap the item and tear it by hand. The cells catch on each other and hold the wrap closed. For an odd shape or a heavy piece, one small strip of tape on the outer layer does no harm.
Which honeycomb roll should a new seller buy first?
I would start with the 10 m roll. It is enough to test the wrap on your own products and to see how many metres one order really takes. Once you know that number, the 100 m roll or our dispenser with its 250 m roll makes more sense.
Is honeycomb paper as good as bubble wrap?
For most ecommerce orders packed in a carton, it does the same job. It cushions by stretching into cells around the item. Where it falls short is filling large gaps, so pair it with void fill. Our honeycomb paper vs bubble wrap guide goes through both.
Why would anyone buy coloured honeycomb paper?
For the unboxing. Brown looks natural with kraft cartons, and white or black looks clean with premium products. Red, yellow, green and blue suit gift hampers and festive orders, where the first impression matters as much as safe delivery.
