Product description

This is a heavy duty cloth duct tape, 2 inch (48 mm) wide and 20 m long, in black or grey. The cloth-reinforced backing is flexible and the adhesive is strong, so it suits patching, quick repairs, bundling and closing torn sacks at home, in a shop or in a workshop.

Choose the colour, then pack size 1 (one roll) or 2 (two rolls).

Where it works best

  1. Patching small cracks in plastic buckets, drum lids, cooler bodies and garden hoses for the time being.
  2. Covering minor tears in tarpaulins, tents and plastic sheets until a permanent repair is done.
  3. Bundling rods, pipes and poles while you move or store them.
  4. Closing torn sacks and securing cartons in workshops, warehouses, shops and homes.

How to choose

Pick the colour that looks neatest on the surface you are patching. Start with pack size 1 to try it on your own job. If it works, pack size 2 costs less than buying pack size 1 twice.

For a small leak, shut off the water first. Clean the spot and dry it completely. Start wrapping a little before the damaged part, overlap each turn by about half the tape width, and carry on past the damage.

One honest limit. Duct tape is for patching and temporary repairs, not a permanent plumbing fix. Do not use it on pressurised leaks, hot water pipes, geyser connections or anything that gets hot, and never use it to insulate electrical wires. Every surface takes tape differently, so test on your surface first.

Questions buyers ask

Will it stop a leaking pipe?

Only for a while, on a small leak, with the water shut off and the pipe clean and dry. Treat it as a patch until the pipe is repaired properly, and test on your surface first.

Can I use it on electrical wires?

No. Use a properly rated PVC electrical insulation tape for electrical work, such as our black PVC electrical insulation tape.

Which tape should I use to seal cartons?

For everyday carton sealing, use our brown BOPP packing tape, which we make in our own plant in Jaipur. Delivery is free across India.
