This is black BOPP packing tape, 3 inch (72 mm) wide and 65 m long, printed with Amazon Prime lines like "video streaming", "free, fast delivery" and "exclusive & early access to deals". It is for Amazon sellers who pack bigger or heavier cartons and want one wide strip to cover the whole seam.

Where it works best

  1. Heavy cartons, like kitchen items, books or bulk orders, where a 2 inch strip does not cover the flap gap.
  2. Large boxes taped in the H pattern, one strip on the centre seam and one on each edge.
  3. White or brown cartons, where black tape gives a sharp, finished look.

How to choose

Wide tape uses tape fast, so do the sum before you buy. A 45 x 35 cm carton taped in the H pattern, top and bottom, takes about 3 m. That is around 20 cartons per 65 m roll. If you ship 10 heavy cartons a day, you need about 15 rolls a month, and the set of 24 is the sensible size.

Check your dispenser first. A 3 inch roll does not fit a 2 inch dispenser, and it is the most common mistake with wide tape.

One honest limit. Black film hides everything under it. Never run it over the shipping label or the barcode, because the courier must scan them. For light boxes, our 2 inch white tape for Amazon sellers does the job with less tape.

We make BOPP tape in Jaipur, and I tell every seller the same thing. The width decides the hold on a heavy box more than the number of strips does.

No. It is black BOPP packing tape with Amazon Prime themed print, 3 inch x 65 m. We make it in Jaipur, and we are not connected with Amazon. If you want unprinted tape, our packing tapes include plain brown and clear rolls.
