This is PackSmith double sided tissue tape, 1 inch wide with 50 m on every roll, in packs of 2, 6 or 12 rolls. It is for gift packers, online sellers, card makers and offices that stick paper to paper and do not want the tape to show.
A thin tissue layer carries adhesive on both sides, under a white liner. We sell it (we do not make it). Once the flap is closed, the tape almost disappears.
What you get
| Type | Double sided tissue tape with a white peel-off liner |
|---|---|
| Width | 1 inch (about 24 mm) |
| Length | 50 m per roll |
| Pack | 2, 6 or 12 rolls |
Where it works best
- Closing the lid flap of a gift box or a rigid box, so it looks finished with no tape on the outside.
- Wrapping paper around a box, with the fold held from inside.
- Fixing a thank-you card or a product insert inside the lid.
- Card making, scrapbooks, photo albums and school charts.
How to choose
Here is a simple sum. If you use two 5 cm pieces to close each gift box, one 50 m roll closes about 500 boxes. So the 2 roll pack suits a home or an office. A seller who packs every day, or a gift shop before Diwali, should take 6 or 12 rolls and skip the mid-season reorder. Our Diwali gift hamper packing guide shows where it fits in a hamper.
Stick the tape on the flap first and press it down. Peel the liner only when the flap is ready to close, and then press the flap firmly for a few seconds.
One honest limit. Tissue tape is thin, so it cannot fill a gap. On a rough board edge it touches only the high points and lets go. That is a job for double sided foam tape. I have compared all three types in our foam, tissue or nano tape guide.
Questions buyers ask
Can I seal a courier carton with it?
No. It is for jobs inside the box. A carton needs packing tape across its seams.
Can I peel it off and reuse the paper?
Not usually. It is made to stay, and pulling it off often tears the paper. Place it carefully the first time.
Will I get a GST invoice?
Yes. The listing price includes GST, and you can add your GSTIN in the cart. Delivery is free across India, and we dispatch in 1 to 2 working days.
