Flipkart sellers ship everything from clothes to electronics, so the kit is wider: courier bags for soft goods, packing tape and FRAGILE tape for cartons, cushioning for anything that can break, 4 x 6 inch shipping labels and packing list envelopes. Whatever bag or box you use, the tape, labels, cushioning and fragile marking on this page still apply.

What to buy

  • Courier bags: 60 micron, tamper-evident, with a POD jacket, in six sizes from 6x8 to 14x18 inch, 100 bags a pack.
  • Packing tape: 2 inch clear or brown BOPP tape for most cartons, 3 inch for heavy ones, or our blue printed tape for Flipkart sellers. Delhivery's packaging guidelines ask for pressure-sensitive tape such as BOPP, with the H method on heavy boxes.
  • Cushioning: honeycomb paper wrap around glass, ceramics and electronics, and void fill paper in the gaps of the carton.
  • FRAGILE tape: red on white, 2 inch x 65 m, on top of the carton.
  • Labels and invoices: 4 x 6 inch direct thermal labels, and packing list envelopes to keep the invoice on a carton. Check that the label size set in Seller Hub matches your label roll.

Which tape should I use for Flipkart cartons?

2 inch (48 mm) BOPP tape for most cartons and 3 inch for heavy ones. Seal heavy boxes in an H pattern: one strip along the seam and one across each edge.

How do I pack fragile items for Flipkart orders?

Wrap the item in honeycomb paper, fill the gaps in the carton with void fill paper so nothing moves, seal it with 2 inch tape in an H pattern and add FRAGILE tape on top.

Will I get a GST invoice?

Yes. Add your GSTIN in the cart before checkout and it goes on the invoice. Delivery is free across India.
