Pre-taped masking film is a thin plastic sheet with masking tape already fixed along one edge. Ours opens out to 2700 mm (about 9 feet) wide and runs 20 m on a roll. Stick the tape edge where the paint should stop, then open the film to cover the wall, window, door or furniture below it.
To work out how many rolls you need, measure the edges you will mask. A 4 x 3 m room is 14 m around, so one roll masks one full line around it with some left over. The tape grips best on a clean, dry edge, and the film comes off best soon after the last coat.
